Impromptu, Gurgaon

If you love pretty earthy tones, huge property, oversized restaurant filled with romance in the swinging white curtains all around, this is definitely your place. As soon you step in the humongous place which says, Love to eat! – Of course, love at first sight; you will be awed by the entrance and the outside area which will give you the feel of a beachside restaurant, they have a fine spread of beach pebbles all around the floor. There is a huge space inside which offers fine, sophisticated dining with yellow and blue colored couch. This place is beautifully done, one of the best setups I have seen in Gurgaon. I am in love with the ambience, already!

Food: Soon we were handed over the menu. Sipping Wine, I mulled over the menu and we placed the order for our culinary excursion.

~The Asian: Five Spice roasted chicken salad with bell peppers, shredded lettuce. It was tossed with honey and soy dressing. The salad could have been done better if they use yogurt based dressing or little less honey for the same.

~Tandoori Chicken Tikka Roll: The rolls were a little dry and so was the chicken. Though, they have played well with the chicken and egg wrapped filling. I would suggest them to make it a little juicy and soft.

~Spinach and cheese cigar rolls: I love the filling of cheese inside the spring rolls. I ordered them because of the name ‘cheese cigar rolls’, but to my surprise they were filled with feta cheese which was mentioned under the ingredients and not on the main head.

~European Spaghetti: I love Italian and I know the taste when it comes to Italian. Yes, this is one dish which you should surely try. The spaghetti was well cooked with the perfect blend of mix sauce. Must Try!

~Chicken Preparation- Makhani: Butter chicken lover, should not miss this dish. The chicken was soft succulent cubes with creamy tangy gravy. It was served with assorted breads. Must Try!

~Sticky Date: Yes, I love my meal to end of a sweet heady note. So, I opted for sticky date cake. The soft, spongy date cake was a treat! The two slices of cake was accompanied well with a scope of vanilla ice cream and caramel dressing. MUST Try!

I am surely coming here, again.
